Just because she won't treat you doesn't mean that no one will, and finding that person will make this so much more possible. Also, if you want additional support but can't afford more than bi-weekly therapy, you could look into places with sliding scale fees, as well as free things to supplement therapy, such as ED Support Groups sponsored by ANAD. I have been to one of those many times and find it enormously helpful. I've done it and I have a friend who is doing it as well. Keep looking for another therapist if you decide that you wish to pursue therapy, and if not, at least find a good ED dietitian so you have some kind of support. It's better than none. Keep searching, keep trying. There is help out there.
